Campus |
PIMCS is located on a 9-kanal site in Allama
Iqbal Town, Lahore, In keeping with the institute's
mission; the campus has been designed to provide
the best possible academic facilities and
environment for the students. The campus has
air-conditioned classrooms, computer laboratories,
and a library, besides offices for the academic
staff.

Facilities |
The Institute's computing facilities include:
1. Three IBM-compatible Pentium III, IV machines,
with running Windows NT and UNIX operating
system. The machines are also hooked to the
Internet explorer and Netscape Web Browsers.
2. A client server network of IBM-Compatible
Pentium III machine. The machines are networked
through Windows NT and UNIX Operating System.

Activities |
The Institute encourages its students to take part in sports for a healthy diversion from their studies. As and when needed, the institute hires playgrounds from the University of the Punjab and Punjab Sports Control Board. The institute appreciates the need for various healthy and creative activities for personality development. In this regard the institute arranges lectures, seminars and sports functions.

Services and Placement |
Counselling is available to students on
matters related to academic and extra-curricular
activities. Each student is assigned an
advisor to assist him/her with individual
problems as well as to plan their long-term
career objectives. Assistance is also provided
in the following areas:
1. Establishing liaison between student
and prospective employers.
2. Career counselling to discuss issues
regarding job markets, resumes development,
and job search techniques.
3. Potential employers are invited to introduce
to the students their current and future
activities and job requirements

This is an official email group of Pak Institute
of Managment and Computer Sciences Lahore
(PIMCS). This group can only be joined by
the studetns and faculty members of PIMCS.
The purpose of this group is to make the interaction
between the students and faculty, and to share
the latest ideas and knowledge in the field
of Computer Sciences and Information Technology.
Here members can discuss and share information
related to computer science, job opportunities.
